Whatever career path you chose, your time at WKU Student Publications helped you build skills to be successful.
We need your support on an ongoing basis to ensure that the exceptional experience students receive from their work on the College Heights Herald, the Talisman, Cherry Creative and Student Publications Advertising continues.
The traditional ways we have been funded — advertising sales for the Herald and relying on university funding for Talisman — have become unreliable.
So we are launching a membership program, aiming to reach out to our alumni and friends, but also to the Bowling Green region, to help us ensure students working for one of our student-led divisions continue getting the top quality experience that helps them build skills and, once they leave the Hill, have an impact in their chosen careers.
Please consider a membership in WKU Student Publications to help us keep that success going. We’ve established membership levels ranging from $5 to $50 or more a month, with the hope that anyone can afford to show their support for our students and their important work.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

All members making recurring monthly donations at any membership level will receive a window cling representing the student-led division of their choice.

All Student Publications members will be listed by category on this website.

Additional incentives may be available.

A NOTE ABOUT PAYING

When you go to the WKU Foundation donation page (after you fill out our membership form) you can pay for your membership either in monthly installments or all at once. For example, the entry level of membership can be paid in 12 installments of $5 a month, or in a single payment of $60.

MATCHING GIFT INFORMATION

If you work for a company that matches your gift to a 501(c)3 organization (such as the WKU Foundation, where our funds are housed), make sure you fill out the matching gift information on the donation page.

If your company requires a minimum donation for a match to be made available, you have the option of paying your membership level quarterly or annually.

For example, Gannett matches at 100% but requires a minimum contribution of $50. In order to achieve the donation level to qualify for the match, you can pay your membership either quarterly or annually. That effectively doubles the impact of your contribution.

If you have any questions, call or email Chuck Clark at 270-745-4206 or [email protected].
